We are eagerly anticipating the Grand Opening Gala for the @usuaggielife @cainecollege Daryl Chase Fine Arts Center and the Newel and Jean Daines Concert Hall! The celebratory event and performance will take place this evening, October 18th, exactly 50 years after the original building first opened. The gala concert will feature Tony award-winning superstar Kelli O'Hara and the Cache Children's Choir, as organized by the American Festival Chorus and Orchestra. The event will also showcase students and faculty from the Department of Music. Congratulations to our dear friend and art historian Hikmet Sidney Loe on publishing her new book, "The Spiral Jetty Encyclo" (University of Utah Press @uofupress)! The book explores the masterpiece of the Land Art movement by Robert Smithson, sited on the northern shore of Utah's Great Salt Lake (1970). Want to learn more and meet the author?
