Sparano + Mooney Architecture was commissioned to design a new religious education building for the growing community of Saint Peter's parish. The project is a new construction of approximately 10,000 SF to be used for children and adult classes and will also support classes in ESL. The building is situated within a large site featuring existing church and rectory buildings, open fields, a playground and a picnic area. Architectural solutions were developed from a contemporary sustainable design approach and from interaction with the parish community that led to the development of a visitor's experience of learning through preparation and growth.
