This 4,500 square foot community spiritual center located on the banks of the Thames River serves the diverse residents of the East Side of London. Designed to accommodate a variety of organized groups and individual visitors, including elderly and youth populations of the area; the design incorporates a means for experiencing the building and its functions from the inside as well as through a series of exterior spaces. Three-quarters of the exterior skin was made of translucent alabaster marble panels mounted on a steel frame which allows the building to glow like a lantern on the river at night.
