off to the architectural race!

Tomorrow evening (Thursday) the Kimball Art Center will reveal the five competition submittals for the design of the new Art Center. The firms competing include Sparano + Mooney Architecture as well as:

Will Bruder + Partners, Phoenix
Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects, New York City
Brooks + Scarpa, Los Angeles
Bjarke Ingels Group, New York City and Copenhagen, Denmark

The event is scheduled from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Kimball Art Center and everyone is welcome.
