Located in Salt Lake City’s Central 9th district, this 5,400 SF, three-story multifamily project brings nine thoughtfully designed residential units to a compact urban site. The building was conceived to respond to the constraints of the small lot through creative solutions for parking, circulation, and unit layout, maximizing density while maintaining a high-quality living experience for residents.
A studio apartment activates the street level, with eight one-bedroom units distributed across the second and third floors. Parking is accessed from the adjacent alley and tucked beneath portions of the upper levels, minimizing its visual impact and preserving valuable site area. Each upper-level unit is efficiently planned within a 600 SF footprint and oriented to maximize natural light and views, with east-facing units capturing vistas of the Wasatch Mountains and west-facing units engaging the energy of the Central 9th urban core.
