ALL PROJECTS — EDITING INSTRUCTIONS
Use the project grid Code Block above to add, remove, or reorder projects. Only edit the project list at the beginning of the code.
ADD A PROJECT
- Create and publish the project in the All Projects blog.
-
Copy the project's page URL. Only use the portion beginning with:
/all-projects/project-name
-
Copy the project's image URL.
Open the published All Projects blog or project page, right-click the project's featured image, and select Copy Image Address. The copied address will usually begin with:
https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/
-
Open the project grid Code Block above and find:
const projects = [
-
Copy an existing project entry and paste it wherever you want the new
project to appear:
{ "title": "Project Name", "href": "/all-projects/project-name", "image": "https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/project-image.jpg" }, -
Replace the title, project URL, and image URL with the new project's
information and save.
Include the image URL whenever possible. It allows the image to begin loading immediately and helps the grid appear faster.
If the image URL is omitted, the code will attempt to locate the image automatically, but the project may take longer to appear.
REORDER A PROJECT
Projects appear in the same order as the project list. Cut the project's complete entry, including its opening and closing braces, and paste it into the desired location.
REMOVE A PROJECT
Delete the project's complete entry from the list. This removes it from the ALL grid only and does not delete the project page.
CHANGE A PROJECT IMAGE
- Update the project's featured image in Squarespace.
- Right-click the new featured image and select Copy Image Address.
-
Replace the existing "image" URL in the project's grid
entry with the new URL:
"image": "PASTE THE NEW IMAGE URL HERE"
- If the project appears on more than one project grid, update its image URL in each applicable grid Code Block.
IMPORTANT
Only edit project entries inside const projects = [ ]. Do not edit the code below the project list. It controls the grid, images, loading, image cropping, fade, and responsive layout.
Keep all titles, links, and image URLs inside quotation marks. Keep the comma after each project entry except the final entry in the list.
