MADISON TARTARO

ROLE | Intern
EDUCATION | University of Utah (BS Architectural Studies)
HOME TOWN | Salt Lake City, Utah

Madison is a recent graduate from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Architectural Studies and a minor in Design, with plans to continue her education pursuing a Master’s degree in architecture.

She is drawn to a life-centered approach to design that considers not just people, but the broader systems we’re part of. Her work is grounded in a desire to create spaces that restore, adapt, and reconnect us to the natural world. With a strong appreciation for detail, materials, and craft, Madison approaches each project with curiosity and care, often preferring to learn by making. She’s particularly interested in adaptive reuse and experimental design, and is always looking for solutions that feel thoughtful, honest, and rooted in lived human experience.

Outside of work, she enjoys creating and learning with her hands, backpacking in the Uinta mountains, fly fishing with her family and immersing herself in new foods and cultures from around the world. Madison envisions a simple, fulfilling life filled with peace, opportunity and exploration – perhaps someday on a farm with all the animals she could ever imagine.
