Courtney brings a deep appreciation for the stewardship of our client's resources, a value that informs her thoughtful approach to financial management for our practice and leadership team. She holds both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration, and brings decades of experience guiding the financial and operational health of complex organizations. Over the course of her career, Courtney has served in senior financial leadership roles, including as Chief Financial Officer for large, multi-disciplinary companies where she was responsible for strategic planning, financial reporting, risk management and long-term growth.

Courtney's professional background spans the advertising, public relations, real estate development, residential construction and architecture industries, giving her a rare ability to bridge creative practice with rigorous financial discipline. At Sparano + Mooney Architecture, Courtney leads our finance and accounting operations, working closely with the firm’s partners to serve our clients and support strategic decision-making, project performance and sustainable business practices. Known for her clarity, integrity and collaborative approach, she plays a critical role in ensuring the firm remains both creatively ambitious and exceptionally well-managed, allowing the design teams to focus fully on delivering world-class architecture. 

Outside of work, Courtney enjoys the outdoors, road biking and quiet Sunday afternoons.
