STEPHANIE HATTON
ROLE | Studio Manager

HOME TOWN | Not all who wander are lost
Stephanie was born in Indiana and raised in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She earned a Bachelor in Art History from Indiana University, a Master in Art History from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master in History of Design from the Royal College of Art/Victoria & Albert Museum in London, England. Her research has explored 20th-century advertising culture, early-Medieval manuscript illumination, northern-Renaissance textiles and the mediation of ornament, as well as power dressing and corporate femininity in 1980s Britain.
Stephanie manages the Sparano + Mooney Architecture studios in Salt Lake City and Los Angeles, and has been affiliated with the firm since 2016. She undertakes a broad, catch-all range of responsibilities from marketing, client relations and company branding to executive administrative assistance, IT support and office maintenance.
Stephanie holds strong opinions about possessive apostrophes and typos; she also believes that Paris is always a good idea and is adamant that Roger Federer is the greatest sportsperson – ever. Apart from Niki Lauda, maybe.
